Tourist visits / Speleological visits in the heart of the Gouffre de La Pierre Saint-Martin. Open to the public since 2010, the cave of La Verna allows visitors to discover the largest underground volume in the world (furnished and lit). Depending on your physical abilities, many visits are available by reservation: Adapted tourist visits (La Verna "Discovery" (accessible to people with reduced mobility); La Verna "River; La Verna "Exploration"; La Verna "Unusual") or sports caving tours (La Verna "Chevalier"; La Verna "Adélie"; La Verna "Aranzadi"; La Verna "Arphidia"; La Verna "Bureau des guides".

It is at the foot of the Pyrenees, in the heart of Pau, in the small workshop at 46 rue Montpensier, that Maison Casteigt has been working since 1989 on a fresh, noble and gourmet product: smoked salmon.
Heirs to an artisanal culture, they work the salmon as naturally as possible. A philosophy that goes through a rigorous choice of raw materials, a unique smoking process that purifies the smoke of its harmful products in a home-built smokehouse, and finally, by cutting the salmon entirely by hand. The objective is to revalue this noble product, often degraded by manufacturers.
Their know-how has enabled them to be named the first Master Artisans Saurisseurs in France, to obtain the Taste and Health Prize, and to be recognized by the French State as a Living Heritage Company.

Chef Alexandre Terrassier welcomes you to the restaurant of the inn to share with you his cuisine, composed according to the seasons and favoring local products. Make yourself comfortable and take advantage of the panoramic view of the Pyrenees mountains to enjoy a gourmet getaway where modernity and tradition mingle.
The inn is open Wednesday to Sunday, for lunch service from 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m. and for evening service, from 7:15 p.m. to 8 p.m. The hostel is open 7 days a week in July and August.
